Smoking inside or in-front of the house is strictly forbidden.

Smoking in the back garden is fine. Just close the garden door, use the ashtray and keep the volume down so as not to disturb the neighbours.

Inside the compound, you can only park in our dedicated space which extends from the outer edge of our garage to the outer edge of our porch. Elsewhere, parking rules are enforced through wheel-clamping & penalties. So do not park in-front of other houses or yellow lines.

You can also park on the main road outside the compound subject to the restrictions explained on the nearby signs.

Please tell me when you will check out (maximum 10am) so I can collect the keys from you.

If you want to check out later, request it ASAP and I'll tell you if it's possible. Unauthorised late check-out is billed at £50 per hour.

Use the top-left button on the Sony remote controls to jump between each [mode]:

Rubbish Collection

There are black, white and transparent bin bags under the kitchen sink. Black is for general waste, white is for toilet bins and transparent is for recycling (plastic/glass/paper). Please place bags into the porch bins ready for collection on Mondays & Thursdays at 8am.

Clothes Washing [Whirlpool]

Press the desired program and then hold the "start" button down for 3 seconds.

Clothes Drying [LG]

Press the "power" button, turn the dial towards the desired program and then press the "play" button.

Heating

Control the heating through the 1st floor thermostat.

Hot Water

Hot water is 24/7.

Air Conditioning

Each room has its own remote control. Please close the windows/doors whenever you use the AC and close the AC whenever you go out.

Umbrellas

London can get rainy, so feel free to use the umbrellas in the utility room.

USB Charger Hubs

You'll find them around the house. Use them, but don't move them.

Bed Sheets

Beds are fitted with sheets, covers etc. If you need them changed mid-stay (£20 per bed), let me know.

Towels

Each guest receives 1 set of towels which should only be used to dry body and hair. Do not use them to mop up spills, polish shoes, dye hair or remove anything which will stain them (e.g. makeup).

Hair-Dryer

There is a hair-dryer below the sink in each of the ensuite bathrooms.

These essentials will help you get going, but you'll need to buy more for the rest of your stay.

Toiletries

Each bathroom has 3 toilet rolls and 1 amenity kit.

Perishables

Help yourself to any perishables in the kitchen. Some were put there by me for your convenience, whilst others were left behind by other guests. So do check expiry dates just in case!

Cleaning Materials

You will find cleaning materials below the kitchen sink and in the utility room. If you'd like me to organiser a cleaner, let me know.

The house sits in-between Holland Park Avenue, Kensington High Street and Westfield Shopping Centre, all of which have cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, cash machines etc.

Holland Park Avenue

Exit the compound ⇒ go right ⇒ walk for 0.2 miles ⇒ go right ⇒ you're there.

Westfield Shopping Centre

Exit the compound ⇒ go right ⇒ walk for 0.2 miles ⇒ go left ⇒ walk for 0.3 miles ⇒ it's on your right.

Kensington High Street

Exit the compound ⇒ go left ⇒ walk for 0.4 miles ⇒ go left ⇒ you're there.

Respect the neighbours

○ Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
○ Please don't loiter outside the house.

Locking the garden door

1. Push the doors together with some force.
2. Push the latch up.
3. Lock it with the key.

The glass slides if you push it. Watch out.
